The
St. Louis Rams selected 6'3" 210 lb WR
Austin Pettis from
Boise State in the third round of the
2011 NFL Draft.
Austin Pettis played four seasons with the Broncos catching 229 balls for 2838 yards and 39 touchdowns. This is another selection by the Rams that seems a bit early. By all accounts Pettis is a possession target with red zone potential. It appears the Rams will continue to try to move the ball with a fleet of solid receivers but no true #1 target. Round 4 of the
2011 NFL Draft will begin at 11AM CST on Saturday.

ReplyDeleteMr Good Hands. If the ball comes anywhere near him he snags it. He won't burn a strip on the grass but he gets deep, finds the ball and hangs on. Very few dropped passes. He took a lot of brutal hits and seldom lost the rock. St Louis fans will love him. He is a good guy on and off the field.
