Marshall Faulk Elected To Hall of Fame

Marshall Faulk was one of seven elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Saturday night. The other six inductees of the class of 2011 will be cornerback Deion Sanders, defensive end Richard Dent, tight end Shannon Sharpe, NFL Films founder Ed Sabol, and linebackers Chris Hanburger and Les Richter.

Marshall Faulk had an amazing career with 12,279 yards rushing, 6,875 yards receiving, 19154 total yards and 136 touchdowns including 100 on the ground. Marshall Faulk was a huge factor for the 1999 St. Louis Rams Greatest Show on Turf reaching and winning Super Bowl XXXIV. Faulk had an amazing 2429 yards from scrimmage in 1999. In addition Faulk was a 7-time Pro Bowler & 3-time First-Team All-Pro, to go with all of his additional awards listed below.

I would love to see the 2011 Hall of Fame Football Game and the Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony August 6th and 7th, 2011. Congratulations to you Marshall on this special day. I look forward to watching you put on the gold jacket you truly deserve it.
